That goes for any profession at all really.

Hmmm..that's a tough one.

Well I don't AB any more but I still play in FA. My mesmer lives there. Anyway I would have to say the number one most annoying build for me is the touch ranger. I have been able to take them out, but other times it seems like the "god mode" of guild wars. Funny thing is I never saw one until an issue of "The Scribe" mentioned this. Then I saw them everywhere. Anyway sometimes they get me, but if they are attacking somebody else, I can usualy take em out.

Second would be E/D builds. It seems like no matter how much degen you give them they just won't die. Luckly i've found a few other builds to counter it.

Last one I think is some sort of Sin build. I think it's "Shadow Mantle" or something like that. I used to make sins run for the hills, but now some of them just come at me out of the shadows and i'm dead before I can react. At the same time though I kind of respect sins that can do this because they are such a hated profesion. I even gave a few props the other day in FA after they took me out a few times.

I would say monks, but a few nights ago I played in a match against 5 monks, 2 sins, and 1 necro. It was during that match I figured out mesmers are good at taking monks out, and if not that, then putting enough pressure on them to let the rest of your team kill the other guys.

I don't see why mesmers are so underated, I think they are great in pvp.

Most annoying would have to be gank sins, normal sins aren't a problem especially if I'm playing on my necro, but the ones that randomly gank you are annoying as hell.

And this one's not so annoying and kind of rare to come by in AB, Hexers (Mes, Necros, etc.) that know what they are doing. It's not that often that you encounter them but they are annoying.

And anything that puts you in a snare I can handle being crippled (just use Mending Touch) but the snare hexes are an annoyance.

Diversion can quickly turn them into Life Siphon spammers. Quite amusing really.

Ritualists who use shadowsong. Since I usually play combat professions (or a hexer), shadowsong annoys me to no end. Can't even kill it cuz I'm blind!

Mesmers, as such, I ALWAYS play one in AB.

Thus, the only thing I fear as a mesmer in AB is a ranger who knows how to use interupts.

I play as a Water Ele or Mesmer or Necro in AB most of the time!

I'd say I hate MM the most in AB!

A lot of people mention sin and mesmers... well, I only hate sin if they use teleport hex, or else I can stop them easy with Water Elementalist or Mesmer with Inpeititude. And as for Mesmers... yes they are a threat, but if they are snared + stuck inside my Maelstrom... or they can't shut down my build, they're just like rest of the casters.

As for MM... it's hard to reach them with 10 Minions around... especially if I don't have any degen skills and they're using Aura of Lich + Taste of death to reduce dmg and instantly gain health.

It would have to be a water ele

Touchers are annoying but u can get away from them easily, water ele's however put snares on me over and over again and i get mobbed by all the luxons.... apart from that i generally find AB easy due to the luxons mobbing while we just cap points...

I always play E/D in AB, mostly a double Attuned fire build or occasionally an Air build.

Order of professions I don’t like:

Mesmer
Assassin, (good ones)
Ranger (interrupt)
Touchers – not fatal but annoying
Necro

Sins who keep attacking you even when they have SS, Insidious Paraiste, and Price of Failure on them.

Fire ele's and degen necro/mesmers annoy me the most. Everything else is childs play

The only assassin that can take me down is the build that dazes u when the shadow step.

Terra Tanks are a fave of mine, Chillblains + Plague Touch = dead terra tank... hehehehe

As you may have guessed, I play an SS/IP necro...

Either someone who runs a pointless tank build, with the purpose of having 10 wammos follow them trying to kill them with their amazing 0 dmg hits.

Also, after you kill someone 1v1, and you have ~20% health left, the noobs who run up to you and kill you with power attack then laugh and call you a noob.

No professions are 'annoying' to me as such, I just hate people who run vendettas in AB. By that, I mean, you own them once, and they come after you for the entire match. Seriously, you got killed once, deal with it? It's all about capping, not trying to kill the same individuals over and over again...

Playing a touch bomber necro mostly in AB, the things that frequently spell my demise are interrupts, enchantment stripping and crippling. That means rangers and mesmers. Assassins are pests but I can usually outdamage them. I love being able to destroy armour-reliant builds, i.e. dervishes, warriors and sometimes elementalists.

Allied monks, 3 real reasons:

1. By the end of an Ab match odds are your team is scattered
2. It tends to make the players on your team careless - "o we have a monk ill drop my healing skill"
3. I play [skill]Spoil Victor[/skill]

Seriouslly though SV mops up most gimmiky builds in Ab....cept perhaps Touch rangers thats more of stalemate, I love SV on assassins, by the time tey've hit their 2nd skill they whack shadow refuge and whimper away
